Battery
First off, congrats on finding such a lo miler - you have years, maybe even a decade of fun left in that baby. However, it does bring to mind the idea that this car sat a lot, which is hard on batteries.
I agree, if you have it tested & it checks fine, run it. Plus with a manual tranny you can always roll start if ya have to to get it home.
Interestingly I just replaced my Delco, which may have been an original battery. Although it tested fine, it seemed to run down quickly. Now that I have a new battery I realize a lot of my niggly little issues, like fuel press slow to come up sometimes, before starting, were due to the batt. I didnt realize it because I had no basis for comparison, but cranking spped was slow too, with a new batt it spions up noticebly faster. A new batt can solve or prevent a world of problems on these electrically sensitive cars,
cheers,
Ian
