Bad MAF? 1996 z28
I have a 1996 A4 Z28. Lately it's been stalling on me. When I move my intake manifold around or my MAF wire, it'll start back as I'm moving the wire till it finds its soft spot. And if move the wire when the car is on, it tries to shut off. Usually happens after the cars warm. All I know is it stalls and starts back up when I move the wire.

Have you had any trouble codes? Unplug the MAF and monitor the pink wire for 12v while you manipulate the harness. 96 and 97s are prone to develop a weak spot that causes an open. You may have to expose some of the harness to find it. Or you may even have a bad connection at the plug.
