Bad Gas in tank

Well, on the news they have been reporting that some gas stations have some sulfur in there gas. http://www.kristv.com/ That is the news link and on the side that says featured videos, the last video is about the tainted gas. Everything they said that happens with it showing it is full and it is not. I filled up at a Citgo on Thursday and it shows still full, even though the city I filled up is about 22 miles from Corpus, but still part of Corpus. I have put at least another 30-40 miles and it has not moved a mark. My question is, what do I do? Can get all the gas out, run some gas treatment, or do I have to replace the sensor in the tank?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

time to drop the rear and pull the tank on that beast... have fun, definately go for a class-action lawsuit w/ others around your area... hell, it might even pay for some more go-fast moddies on it

Last I knew the sulpher issue was only from one shell plant here in LA.. Our shop has done around 30 Pumps/sending units from this. If your gauge complatly stops moving then you have a problem.

Yeah the needle does move when I turn it off. When it is on, it jumps straight to full. The pumps I went to are closed down. So I am thinking they found out. Time to get my 250 back for the repairs.

Here you go.

http://www.interactclaims.com/shell/

This is an old issue, so I don't know if it will do you any good. But this is the place to submit the claim. They have paid all around here that had proof that they bought gas at Shell, Texaco, or Chevron stations. They are all under one big corporate umbrella.

Good luck,

PJ
