I was just wondering what is the average mpg for the z28 camaro 1998-2002, or a v8 bird same production years. When I say average I mean like city and highway.

 

Automatic or Manual?????? Might search ...... been discussed before...

 

I've got a '00 A4 I get 20-22 avg., up to 30 Hwy.

 

You can drive it down depending on how heavy your foot is - traded in a Toyota 4X4 pickup for mine in '01 - even with my mods I get better mileage now.

 

400rwhp cammed engine with bolt ons..

m6 trans with stock rear

recent road trip...100miles of slower semi-city and 200 miles of 65-70mph with ttops off.

25.7mpg

In the 4 years I've owned my car ('02 Z28 in sig) with gear ratios ranging from 2.73's to 4.10's, I've pretty much always averaged around ~230 miles per tank, +/-. Whatever that works out to be in MPG? (I think it's around ~20? ). The most I EVER got (once ) was 310 miles (think that's around ~26 MPG? ) and on the other end of the scale, I've gotten less than 200 miles to a tank!

 

around town i get 16-17mpg. heavy foot... all highway i get 20-22.

 

Generally about 21, but I have gotten as little as 19 and as much as 24. A4, moderate pace, all highway.

 

mine sux then...as i said...but I usually average 16.5 mpg. im pretty sure its the tuning that effs me.

 

^ ^ seems low considering you've got an M6.

 

it is low...but with the tuner, my heavy foot, and the ability to be be first at every red light...i dont mind.

 

HA, i get about 15 avg., and have and M6. The car i running horribly rich, and has the supercharger, with bolt ons and a blower cam. I pray black soot out of the borla its that rich. I def. need a tune myself, dynotuning is not great for daily driving.

wow i think i even have SpeedDemon beat for the worst mpg...i get about 10mpg (150 miles to the tank)...pretty rought and im not that hard on the pedal and i have an M6...good thing i just got my new pcm today tuned by Ion...and gettin new front O2's in a few days...
