Hey,

A friend of mine works at a local chevy. the other day he got a Trans Am. The thing is beautifull...has ASC badges, and a numbered plack inside. 2 Piece rotors, headers, exhaust, shifter, etc. The thing is red with 2 silver stripes. it is a 2002. Can anyone tell me what an ASC is?

They are like SLP for the Camaro. They did the performance packages for the Trans Ams

 

Do they make the parts? Did they do the anniv fire hawk?

 

ASC did all the stuff for the WS6s. The Firehawk was SLP. ASC does other stuff too. I believe they did all the convertible conversions for the third gens, and they did that concept 300c convertible, I think.

 

interesting...i thougth SLP did everything for all F-body's, pontiac and chevy...

 

Nope, not the 4th gen WS6s, although that seems to be a common misconception.

 

I thought the same thing, until I was checkin SLP's sight and saw they only did the firehawk

 

asc was the company that made my 91 z into a vert, according to the sticker inside the door anyways, lol
