anyone with alot of time and even more knowledge..

i drive a 74 z28. it has a 396 engine. thats about all i know. its embarissing and i feel like im not worthy of driving such a nice car being so stupid when it comes to cars. so school me someone. anyone. everyone. any little bit of info about the car, its engine. its got a 650 carb but i dont even know wtf 650 means? the size of something possibly?

i know the basic principles of cars, but past that my head starts spinning. so whether its about the car i own or cars in general, anything is appreciated. also feel free to laugh at me and call me a discrace to camaro lovers ever where. i am. i love the car and bought it to enjoy but realized i got in over my head. im just a kid but none the less i want to learn everything about cars i can, because she really is a beauty. thanks in advance.

396 is the cubic inch of the motor, which is a pretty big small block v8. 650 cfm is 650 cubic feet per minute of air the carb is capable of sucking in. your car is rwd and it probably has posi rear which means both wheels spin at the same speed limited slip is basically the same thing but it will give while turning, meaning that one wheel will spin faster but on a straight both wheels will lock up.
dont take it oo hard, we were all rooks at some point, just take it as you go. dont try to learn everything at once.

A couple auto classes at a local community college wouldn't hurt either. You can learn alot and get some hands on exposure as well.

i have a book called "How to build small block chevys" or somethin like that, and i actually learned a lot from that book. Even if you're not building a motor right now, you'll learn a lot from it.

i gaurentee everyone on this forum has learned by reading and doing.
Also, any pictures of the car? i LOVE 2nd gens, thats goin to be my next car

First you need to have the photos stored on an online server, I use Photobucket.com Then you click on the icon that has the mountain and the sun. Take the url address of your picture and copy and paste it into the text box that you will be prompted with when you click the icon.

if you want, use tinypic.com
In my opinion, it is a lot easier, and even a dummy can use it
