I'm into that custom junk and I thought about it today. I thought about installing an analog one while I'm doing the LS1 dash swap in my '94, and then I got to thinking about the digital one. Something nice, GM, and different too. anybody have any thoughts on this? I figured the digital one probably had solenoids to control temp, so the analog one would probably be easier.

The C5 uses a vaccum router that contols HVAC doors and allows driver and passenger to have different temps.
Also the BCM of the C5 would be different then on a F body and is programmed differently, including the C5 uses drive by wire and controls when AC can be on or off differently then how F body functions gas pedal.

It would be a lot of work to do this.

Something I was thinking of was disassembling the A/C control head and reassemble it using the parts from an F-body...would only work on the analog head of course, but it may work. Two things I'm not clear on is how I'd get the recirculation to work (it's a button on a 'Vette), and if the late 4thgens have a 4 or 5 position fan speed ****. If I can figure out how to put ABS on a thirdgen I'm sure this isn't a problem.
