I just replaced the motor for the first time ever. Opened my Haynes manual... useless!

I got the regulator, motor, and glass out of the door in about 1-1/2 hours. Then spent WAY too much time driving back and forth to the hardware store.
Reassembled the next morning in about 1-1/2 hours, before work.

BTW, if you want to save some time, buy the hardware ahead of time... if you are going to bolt everything back together instead of rivet...

7mm fit best in the regulator holes. I think I used 16mm long and I used lock nuts.
4mm fit best in the motor holes. These were 12mm long and also used lock nuts.

Still works..same motor. Wow just noticed the date on my original fix. July 13 2003. Almost 2 years and still works.
