Another one of those...

'what will it run?' threads. So how bout it?
Plan on running it sometime next month, for the first time. Will have my Nitto 555Rs by then in addition to what you see in my sig.
So assuming good track conditions (Pacific Raceway, Kent WA) and decent driving, what times/mph should I be shooting for?

Going by the info in your sig ,depending on traction, and your driving skills... about what a stock LS1 would run. I'd agree high 12's w/excelent driving/traction and conditions, but with that much torque and 4.11s you're going to have fun hooking up.

Any cheap mods I don't have that I can add to get high 12s to be a little more achievable, or at least not solely dependant on perfect track conditions? Don't have a lot of dough to spread around right now, and haven't even got the tires yet.

start pulling out your pass seat and rear seat. drain your washer fluid, dump the spair and any extra's you have in the car.

thats great for track only mentality, which ok thats where all racing should be done, however i run my car fully loaded since on the street you cant pull over and strip your car before the light turns green.

Ya thats a tad excessive for a DD/weekend fun car. I will take out the spare and jack of course and make sure I don't have a full gas tank, but as for ripping the car apart thats not really an option. I'll lose the weight thats just laying around but thats about it for now as far as weight reduction goes. Free is definitely cheap tho.
Was hoping to find something maybe in the $200-400 range I hadn't thought about that might make it a lil easier to break into the 12s.
Thanks for the input guys.
