Another 'Guess My Time'

Hey all, I'm heading to the track tonight with the mods in the sig. The tires have about 10k on them and are a year old. Spare/jack/some panels are removed. I weigh about 200lbs.

Wish me luck and a smooth, safe night.

wow unless there is something wrong with the car that guess is kinda off. My 94 A4 Camaro went 14.1 stock spinning the hell out of the bald tires i had on there.

My guess is a low 13

Re: Another 'Guess My Time'

if you were running at Atco NJ, or anywhere sea level with good air, and you can launch/drive very well you should see easy low 13s. Take in the fall in cold air 12s arent out of the question at all.....esp. with good slicks

i dont mean in a derogatory way, but ive seen a few people with similar mods doing the approx. time as my guess.

http://video.ls1tech.com/Player.aspx...A-07113F1359FC

if the link is dead look in northeast f-bods, short atco clip. the second camaro (red) is owned by bow94z, read the sig.

second, i dont the stock tc isnt that great. differance between his and mine, but 385 rwhp and mods in my sig, im only running 13.1, not saying he has my problems but again its my guess. so tranamdude95 dont be discouraged by that and good luck.

I'm saying I'll hit mid 13's.. if I'm lucky low 13's. But I still have another month to go before I get a chance to find out.

I really hope so... my car has been running rich for soooo long. Two days ago, I took my driver side header off of the head and replaced the gasket, then removed the slip-fit and put some High Temp Ultra RTV(black) on there... seemed to work well with sealing. I have some scans of my car up on the computer diagnostic section and it seems like something is really wrong with it... Injuneer will be helping me figure it out, but if you any of you want to help also, here's the link:

I made a 5th scan after I messed with the driver side header, but I can't find anywhere to upload it to since Savefile.com is having maintenance.

Re: Another 'Guess My Time'

I had a shop install it... it is about 1/2" to 1" to wide and wouldn't line up. I can try to get some pics of what it looks like tomorrow morning possibly. I won't be able to jack up my car though. Some advice that you might consider... use some high-temp paint on your headers and y-pipe if you want them to look nice for a longer time... I've had my headers/y-pipe on for about a year now, and the y-pipe has pretty much no coating left on it. The headers look nice from the top, but down at the collector, rust is beginning to win the war lol. I'm going to spray it with some Rust Eater and hope for the best. I was thinking the Jet Hot coating would last a bit longer than it has...
