Hey there, I am looking for anyone with information on why my alternator will not charge. I recently got my car out of the paint shop and now I am having a problem with the alternator not charging the battery. everything seems to be properly connected and I have had the alternator tested and replaced the volt regulator. Interesting thing is the GEN light stays on until I get car past about 90 miles an hour and then the GEN light goes out and the BRAKE light comes on! if I just reve the engine the GEN light goes from being dim to bright red and then back to being dim. driving me nuts. any ideas?
