Alternator question

Question Alternator question
Charging amps are 12.5. I know they should be in the 14.5 range. How long can I drive with my charging amps that low. It's still charging right? Just at a lower level?

AT the battery with the car idling, it should read 13.8 to 14.2 volts.. looks like your car is just running on the battery.... Battery voltage, alone, is around 12 to 13 volts if its holding a good charge...
