Alternator bracket broke...

This is pretty interesting. Just fueled up and got about a mile down the road and could barely steer the car. So i pulled over and the belt is hanging over the sway bar (lucky). I'm trying to figure out why the belt came off so i spin the alt pulley by hand -it's free, the PS wheel- it's free, and the ac compressor again free. I look closer and right where the alt bolt goes into the bracket i see a crack. I reach in and lift the whole alt right out. Get back to the house on battery power and start dissassembly to replace the bracket and discovery the rear ac support bracket is broken too and one of the three ac compressor bolts is missing. I know all bolts were there in july when i redid the ac lines. The only thing i can think that caused all this is vibration. I had this car for a yr and a half in fl and never had the problems i've had with it since i've moved to se TX 6 months ago. So again i say SE TX roads suck giant donkey *****!

Sounds like the brace from the #2 cylinder exhaust manifold bolt to the back of the alternator was not installed.
