airbag simulator/resistor

is there a resistor that i can put in place of my air bag when i eliminate it for a new steering wheel??? just to turn the light off thanks

You'll probably need to add some up at Radio Shack to try and equal the resistence. I just pulled the bulb.

yeah i kind of figured that but i just cant believe that no one knows what the resistance is so i dont have to use the trial and era method. please let me know if anyone ahs a clue. thanks

Get a voltmeter and measure the resistance(ohms) across the unplugged connector. You should get a reading.
