Air bags inop

The air bag light in my '94 LT1 has been on for some time now. After some searching the forum I've checked the grounds, especially the one on the passenger side fender. I've checked all the yellow connectors I could find including behind the glove box and under the center console. Also the fuse is good. Any other places to check before it goes to the shop?

Re: Air bags inop

Get it scanned and let us know what the code is. Then we can guide you to the problem and how to trouble shoot it with out paying so much.

Sounds like you have a broken SIR coil.
