i can't get the damn thing out, i have no idea how to do it. am i supposed to drill out this striped screw or what? the freakin ratchet extension dropped inside of the engine and i don't have a magnet to pick one up. can someone help me out here. BTW..the things that hold the windshield cover on the bottom..they suck. they are old and broken etc.

Re: ah striped a screw!

Did you strip the head or the threaded hole?? If its just the head try some good ole fashioned vice grips!! If its the hole, get a tap and die kit and get to work. And windshield cover?? If youre refering to your cowl theyre plastic push pins holding it in most places, on newer ones. You can pick em up a dime a dozen at O'reillys or AutoZone. Oh and its stripped*.

Get a socket made to grip stripped heads.

Re: ah striped a screw!

umm....the pcm IS the metal casing. You dont need to dissasembel it, just pull it out of the car and ship it. Ask Ion if he may have an extra plastic bracket laying around....
