actual dyno gains from true duals
i'm curious as to the exact dyno gains by going to true duals.
i'm not really looking for on bolton cars, since i'm running a decent size cam in my LS1.
but for engines making around 400rwhp, what are the gains from basically a LM setup to a full 3" true duals setup??
i dynoed 382rwhp after the cam install. that was on a bad clutch, but it didn't seem to slip till after the peak hp. since then i've added a new spec 4 with a light aluminum flywheel. the drop in rotational mass should free up some hp (less drivetrain loss), and i've been told up to about 10hp.
i've also installed some harland sharp roller rockers, cause i couldn't pass up the price. the manufacturers claim 8-10hp
...so more like 5hp if i'm lucky.
with these mods plus the 3" Xpipe true duals...think i'll pick up that 18rwhp to put me at 400??
