ac no work
ac no work
ok i filled it and everything tested the pressure it doesnt work. didnt work that cold in the first place so what do i need to replace? its most likely the compressor yea? i havnt known condensors to just go bad so i am thinking compressor any inputs or past experience is appreciated.
Re: ac no work
What doesn't work? It doesn't blow? It doesn't blow cold? Don't just go replacing parts. What was the pressure at? Was it recovered and recycled properly or did you use a home kit that just adds to a most likely leaking system?
Re: ac no work
well before i had it it blew kinda cold not ice but kinda. i filled it with one bottle through the hose that i bought at autozone. had the car running and air on. when I did my CAM i removed the condensor (thing infront of radiator) and left it off for about 2 weeks. it blows. i dont know about recylcing properly or anything like that.
Re: ac no work
Check to see if the compressor is running or cycling on and off.
Also did you put A/C oil in it too when you hooked everything back up?
Right now it is blowing hot right, like you have no A/C at all?

Re: ac no work
You have a ton of moisture in the system. R134A that was in the lines when you removed the condenser absorbed moisture which is now stuck in there. You should replace the receiver/dryer and then have the system vacuumed for at least 30 minutes.
Re: ac no work
Dang I've had my ac gasket removed for about a year now. It still blows, but I haven't replaced the gasket or added freon. does this mean that I have to do all the stuff that was just mentioned above?
