AC Condenser Removal

Deleted my AC system today. After removing the condenser I now have a 1.5" gap on each side of the radiator that will allow air to bypass the radiator. Do I need to pull these holes to obtain proper cooling (force air through the radiator)? If yes, what techniques have worked best?

I don't know what you mean by "pull these holes", but you need to seal the gap. I run a Griffin radiator, and its thicker than the stocker, so it filled the gap without any seals.

Sorry for the typo; meant to say plug the holes or gaps.
