AC compressor connector

AC compressor connector

how many wires are supposed to be in it and what is it used for?

umm, 2 wires, and it make the compressor clutch engage, which makes your a/c work................

well thats my problem then. i only have 1 wire coming out of it. where could the other one have gone? how would i go about tracing it back and fixing it?

hopefully it is just up in the loom a little bit, I would pull the alt. off and open the loom up to the alt connectors, and see if you see the missing wire in there
