I have tried removing wheels and blowing off brake assembly with no positive results. The ABS light on panel continues to stay on. Anyone have a suggestion for a fix in this case?

 

you are going to have to have it scanned,
failed wheel sensors are fairly common, cheap and easy to replace

 

Had the same thing happen, I unplugged the ABS sensors on the front wheels and sprayed the electrical connectors with some electrical contact cleaner, let it dry and plugged 'em back in. The light went off, it was a quick fix, hopefully you'll have the same luck.
