A4? M5?
Re: A4? M5?
NBM = Navy Blue Metallic, i.e. the color of my car.

Incidentally, many ricers use NBM to mean "nothing but motor", i.e. no boost and no nitrous.

Re: A4? M5?
BFH: Big F**kin Hammer
TA: Torque Arm (part of the rear end suspension) or Trans Am.
IIRC: If I Remember (or sometimes Recall) Correctly
STB: Strut Tower Brace
TTIWWOP: sometimes written "Titty wop" (see previous post)
RPO Codes: Replacement Parts Ordering Codes - the three-digit codes on a sticker on the back of your driver side door, indicating the original options included on your car.
ODB: On-board diagnostics. 1995 and earlier cars are equipped with OBD1, and 1996 and newer cars are equipped with OBD2, which adds a lot of emissions diagnostic ability and makes modifications much more likely to cause an SES
SES: Service Engine Soon - indicator on gauge cluster. Take your car to AutoZone and they will tell you what the problem is, for free.
CEL: Check Engine Light - indicator on gauge cluster.

LT = Long tubes, a type of exhaust header known for excellent flow and power gains.
"Shorties" = short tube headers. Depending on the car, these may or may not improve performance.
CAGS = Computer Assisted Gear Selection -- mode on six-speed 4th-gens (and most other GM cars with the 6-speed manual) which prevents you from shifting into 2nd or 3rd under certain conditions in order to improve gas mileage.
SFC = subframe connectors

FRA: Free Ram Air -- a free mod that adds a sort of ram air to your air intake.
SSRA: Super Sucker Ram Air -- a non-free mod that does pretty much the same thing, only different
Want any more?
