'97 Z28 vs. '95 T/A
There are these two that I'm going to test drive this weekend:
'97 Z28, 6-speed, black, fully loaded, 17"-rims, only 20kmiles, $15300.-
vs.
'95 T/A, 6-speed, dark purple, fully loaded, Borla catback, 80kmiles, set of winter tires, new summer tires, new brakes, $10800.-
I'm looking for a reliable daily driver (as noted in another thread)
Now witch one to choose?
What are the main differences between the two cars? (since they are not from the same year)

Oh yeay, both way overpriced.
Other than the obvious interior/exterior differences, the only major difference is the PCM. The 97 uses the second generation (OBD II) the 95 uses the first (OBD I). Unless you'll be tuning the computer there isn't much difference, no big deal either way.

Ok, just back from the testdrive with the T/A:
It was nice to drive. The car looked good for the age and mileage. The Borla sounded nice but I'm not sure if it isnt too loud in a daily driver. The testdrive was too short to find out. What I really didn't like was the shape of the headlampdoors. Also not sure about the color. Purple isn't my favourit color on a car.
I liked the torque of the engine at low rpms. Thats what I miss in my actual daily.
Now I'm wondering how I like the Camaro. Gonna tell you tomorrow!

WOW WOW WOW!!!! plase don't tell me you are gonna pay anywhere near those prices!
IMO: 97 is worth 8-9k at the most and 95 is worth like 5k.
in istanbul, Turkey, they were selling a 95 red trans am with 70k miles for $35.000. 06 Mustang GT new, for $80.000

If you think the Borla is loud on just a short drive, chances are you will hate it later (of course you could always change it). Both cars should be similar in their feeling of power.

The driving, handling and performance, should be very similar. So it comes down to which looks the best to you. The 97 is two years newer and only has 20 miles on it.
Personally I realy like the looks of the Camaro's and black is my favorite color, so I'm way biased on this one.
