Question 96 Z28 Accessory plug?

I'm trying to adapt a traction control reversal module (not SLP's) to my 96 Z28. It requires 12v power when the key is on. Under my console, there is part of the wiring harness that comes from under the dash that is marked "Accessory Plug. See Owner's Manual" (or something close to that). There is no plug nearby. There are 3 wires: pink, orange and black. This part of the harness is folded over and taped to all of the other wires. In the owners manual it tells you what each wire is and talks about using them to connect a CB radio or similar devices and that the connector is located in the front part of the console ahead of the shifter. This is not the case. It is NOT the cigarette lighter. Those wires are separate and the cigarette lighter always has power, not just when the key is on.

Anybody have any luck finding this accessory plug? I would rather use this plug if it exists, rather than tearing into my wiring harness.

Thank for any input.

There is no actual plug....you would tie into the wires you found under the console....I used them for my e-cutout.

Thanks! That's what I'll do. I just didn't want to tear into it without asking the question first.
