Hello was fixing my head gasket and its my first time working on cars. And ive put every rhing back but the only problem I have now is super high idle. I cant figure out were its comeing from beause ive have check every vacuum line for leaks and every thing looks fine. I did a smoke test and it only came up near the feul rail. I was wandering if any one knew what the promblem could be. Thanks

Have you verified that something in the throttle cable/linkage isn’t holding the blade open?

And, are you sure you reconnected the idle air control (IAC) valve?

 

yea I even bought a new one.
