The red 2 tone cloth seats for the camaro are relatively rare... There was a guy in Atlanta selling a complete set of LEATHER 2 tone red seats and door panels to match... Check the for sale section...

what was the reason of red seats? was it some special year or was it just a different option of some sort?

It was just an optional interior. I'm not sure, but it was probably only available with certain paint colors. I've heard it was only available in 94 and 95, but I don't know if that is true. My 94 has that interior.

I don't know of any way to find numbers, but I've only seen them in Red Camaros and Z28s. I've heard that they only used them in 94 and 95. Red if I'm not mistaken was the most common color for those years. My guess is that they were probably in at least 10k to 20k cars... Now given how old those cars are, the number that are still around and in good shape is probably a lot less... And of corse, you can take any 4th gen camaro seats to a good upholstry shop and have them get the right fabrics and have them redone in the same pattern.. This guy had his done in leather.

okay so your advice is not to get rid of these seats? they are in excellant condition.. i kinda want to keep the car w/ the red seats so maybe years down the road that interior will be very rare or am i just dreaming a little too hard?

oh okay.. well i was just wondering what the deal was with the red seats so i guess the verdict is that the red seats are just a another option for the car?

I think the color scheme would look bad azz in leather with red stitching. That's what i'll be switching to enventually.

If you like the seats, then keep them... I don't think any options/features on a 4th gen f body will make them worth big $$$ in the future...

Maybe if you had something like a 97 SLP LT4 Firehawk convertible with no milage on it...

well i contaced Chevrolet about this topic (which i should have in the first place) but here is the info i got from them

Production totals for the 1994 Camaro:
Camaro Z28 Convertible 4,932
Camaro Coupe 76,531
Camaro Convertible 2,328
Camaro Z28 Coupe 36,008

Total Camaros 119,799

Total 1994 Camaros with Flame red cloth interior is 9,851.

1994 Camaro models did not have sequence numbers.

i replied back and asked them if they could figure out how many of these 9,851 Camaros were Z28's. because they just answered how many 1994 Camaros had the interior not specific models

I have this interior too. I think it brightens up the interior-makes it more interesting. Haven't seen too many like it. My car is a hardtop Z28 w/no power options and M6, so it was probably not part of an options package.
