93 z hardtop dash pad removal?

think i have a grasp on how to do this but want to check with someone in the know. 93 z28 hardtop. remove the a-pillars by pulling them out of their clips(no screws). then the part i'm not sure on....is the dash pad held on the ends by screws or is it just by clips? then carefully lift up the dash pad ( again, clips or screws or velcro?) its already cracked but dont want to totally FUBAR it. thanks

Chances are it is going to be in pieces when you finally get it out. Velcro is the only thing holding it on.

I didn't even need to take the A Pillars off on my '96. Just pull it off, its held in by like 3 velcro pieces.

If you take the A-pillar covers off, you don't have to flex it as much. That's important to help keep it from cracking (or cracking further).
