93 Firebird Formula Questions

A friend of mine is looking at buying a 93 Firebird Formula lt1 auto. I know there are diffrences like the mass air in the 94 and up's. Are there anything other than the obvious he should look for. I don't know much about the 93's like how hard are they to tune, any performance mod differences compared to the later lt1 birds. Also is there a way to change it to maf and is it worth it to do. I appreciate any input.

Re: 93 Firebird Formula Questions

easiest way to change to MAF is to swap in a 94 computer and harness, to tune a 93 you need to get a chip burned for it, can't use a programmer plugged into the port under the dash(like 94 up), some other differances, those are the biggest ones
