93-97 air bag question

I have a 96 Firebird, that I just put a cage in. a buddy of mine removed the passenger air bag when he removed the dash for the front bars. I need to know how to remove the drivers side air bag! its going to be mostly a drag car so I dont think I need it. and I dont want the weight. thanks

Re: 93-97 air bag question

Searching the site should give you your answer. There was a post about this not long ago and I actually posted a link to a how-to if I remember correctly, as did some other people. I'm too lazy to look for it myself right now.

Easiest way is to replace the stock steering wheel with a light weight aftermarket wheel.
