My bro got an 89 IROC to fix up as a first car and its been attempted to of been stolen and needs a column. We send the computer off and got tuned and the VATS got tuned out of it,so my question is that since the VATS have been tuned out,can we put in a column from an 86 IROC parts car I had?

Just figured I'd ask before we start takin this thing apart,thanks fellas.

 

Don't see why not, should be a bolt in. The starter enable relay will probably have to be bypassed, not a big deal.
