83 cross fire injection z28

Why is my rear hatch different than others? Its not a back glass its kinda like a trucks??? It came on the car is it special or something?

Do you mean the rear hatch glass is vertical, rather than a fastback design?

Could be an aftermarket (not a factory option) hatch called the "notchback hatch".

Hatch, Camaro/Firebird 82-92 Fiberglass Rear Notchback Hatch - Hawks Third Generation

This is a Firebird, but the Camaro used the same part.

It was factory that's why I'm so curious. I have never seen a "notch back" except mine. I would show a picture but don't know how.

Well.... does it look like the picture I posted, or is it something completely different? In 1988 you could get an optional factory notchback hatch on the Firebird Trans Am GTA. That's the only factory modification I'm aware of.

In 1985, GM built a "concept" Kammback Firebird.... does the rear hatch look like this:
