67 convert 1/4-panel problems

I am the owner of a shop here in Kansas that does paint and body work on older cars. I am working on this convert that someone (or should I say several shops) had started on and the 1/4s were butchered on. They are no where even close to where they are supposed to be welded too. Thats one problem but I have another in that the window area at the top of the 1/4 was from a hard top I am almost certain and it looks wrong.
What I need is a picture from the interior side of the 1/4 panel looking outward to see what it is supposed to look like on a convertible At that pinch weld area. If you need to send me a picture send it to me at hightorqueracingautobody@yahoo.com

The car would need to be taken apart to see what I need so hopefully someone has a car disassembled for this picture. I appreciate the time thanks.

I think you'll have a better chance of a response on the "General F-Body Tech & Info" forum, than here on "Advanced Tech". This is mostly "engine" related discussion.

I'll move the post there for you.......

That's a rare car to find. Have you tried ebay or google to find the pics you need? Good luck to you!

Welp looks like noone could help here but we figured it all out on our own. I had 3 different manuals and not one has the pictures of the 1/4s or reinforcements that are installed into the 1/4. The previous body shop had cut them out (not knowing what they had cut out) then reinstalled them in the wrong place. After we cut it all away we also discovered that the hardtop 1/4s on the convert are totally different. I got the owner to buy new 1/4s and rear body panels and now the car looks more like a car. And one more tip to anyone else that has a convert, make sure when you install the new rockers and floorboards that the car dont fold in half. Once we got to hanging all the sheet metal we discovered the cowl had rotated back over an inch and so we had to cut it free and realign it then reweld it all back together. If anyone ever needs info I know what to do now for sure. I had never done a camaro convert before but we will be masters at it soon. I would love to post pictures of this mess to show what we went thru to get it right. Thanks
