52mm throttle body

I can find a 52mm real cheap brand new and was wondering if it is worth it. I know I will obviously get more air flow but do I neet to port the intake at all? Change anything out? How much will I really see? thanks for any help

Yea he's right man, if you have an LT1 car, the stock bore 48mm. Your 52mm will not need any porting at all. The 58mm's and the mono blades are the one's that need all the porting. Just so you know, if you ever step up to a 58mm, the aluminum is very soft and it doesnt need to be to dead on in porting for it. So you may be able to do it your self.

EDIT: like teke said, I hope your talking about an LT1 and not an LS1
