I have a 94 lt1 and was wondering what year is compatabile with this car.
Example will a 99 4l60e work in my 94 or what years are compatible.

 

94-97 V8 f-bodies only.

FYI:
93 are not electronically controlled, you could use one, or a 700R4 from a third gen, with little modifications, except you'd have to hook up some vacuum lines....
98+ are LS1 trannies, different bolt pattern, won't mount. V6 trannies are incompatible for the same reason, plus they're weaker, supposedly.
