3rd gen & 4th gen Engine Bay.

3rd gen & 4th gen Engine Bay.
I have a 95 Camaro that I'm going to put a 454 in. One of my main hurdles is the header fitment. No nody makes a conversion/ engine swap header for this set up.
My question is I've found several choices and was wondering which ones would be my best route to go?
#1 I've found a some Hooker Headers that are made for up to 92 year model 3rd gens. They were made so that you could put a 396-454 in the car and still run long tubes. My question for this is how similar are the engine bays between a 92 & 95 year model. If the width from sidewall to sidewall is close this route may work. If any one knows the exact width of a 3rd gen engine bay please let me know. I need to know the width from sidewall to sidewall where the headers would be coming down. I'm going to measure my 95 later this week once I get my engine out.
#2 My next choice is going with a set of block huggers. I don't really like this route because I feel like they will choke the engine down alot. I was hoping that if I had to go this route to get it to fit around the engine area that I could cut the collector off and extend the tubes on back to make long tubes out of them.
#3 My least favorite and most time consuming methods. Just make a set from scatch
Let me know what you think about my choices and the measurements if you have them. Thanks

Re: 3rd gen & 4th gen Engine Bay.
i dont know much about it,
there is less room from head to body in a 4th gen then in a 3rd gen , 3rd gens are great for big blockk swap
putting teh 454 in ur 4th gen will result in Number 3 , getting custom headers built for ur car , also many other custom stuff
let us know if it works out for u , would be nice to c
