383 stroker + NO2 = Too much for stock rear end?

Just wondering if running a small shot of no2 along with a 383 would be too much for the stock rear end to handle?

This should be discussed in either the Drivetrain forum or General Fbody Tech Forum.

I'll transfer this to the General Fbody Tech forum due to the question asked.

With a decent launch and an M6...forget about it.

With a decent launch and an A4...you stand a chance--for a while.

Either way, she'll need some beefing up, maybe just a rebuild with TA Cover/Studs/Welded tubes. Might still not be enough, what tires/tranny you've got?

I'm just wondering what nitrogen dioxide (NO2) does for an engine? I know that nitrous oxide (N2O) helps create a lot more horsepower though .

Put a set of strange axles on, change cover, gears, diff and its like a new rear for alot less money.
