350 heads on a 305

Alright, I have an ignorant friend that thinks he knows everything about engines because he is a shop bitch at a machine shop. He owns a 1990 Firebird with a 305 auto, and he just talks so much how it's such a bad *** car. He basically considers it like a 'nice summer weekend' car and I don't know why. Anyway, every week he changes his 'plans' for this car and this time around he wants to take his 305 and put 350 heads on, which I've heard you can't do, but he claims they will bolt right up. Then he wants to just top it off with a 671 blower. He claims the stock cam will be perfect because of the chip he' using. How can I prove to him that 350 heads will not fit? Oh get this, he thinks cast internals would be fine in a high boost engine.

I thought 350 heads would go on a 305 . I don't see what the advantage is though. I was told 105 heads on a 350 would make more power, but I'm not sure.......I've never done it. I know all sbc's are alike (except lt1's) and there parts ARE interchangeable.

With the small bore size, its not going to make to much difference.... He would be better to just switch the engine over to a 350cid....

I think he could theoretically put 350 heads on the 305, but that's going to kill compression. LOL Wouldn't be surprised if he made less power.
