I have no idea how to get the rear seats out lol, I don`t want to just start pulling on them and break them so if you know how to get them out that would help me out huge, it`s an 81 Z28 I`m working on.

There are two screws at the base of the rear seat.. You have to remove the seat bottoms to see them.. Then you have to push the seat in some and lift it straight up to get it off the hooks near the top... Sometimes it's hard to get it released from those hooks.

EDIT: Just reread your post... The seat bottoms are also held in place with a hook at the base.. I used to put my knee in the seat and push back on it to pop it loose.

Do a search for 2nd gen Camaro owners group.. I used to post there when I had my 81 Z28.. Lots of information on the message board.

hey, yeah the 2 "bottoms" are sorta clipped in.....the metal wire framework of the bottom clips into a metal tab in the floor of the car. You've gotta push straight back on the seat bottoms (as if you're trying to push them into the trunk) and lift up. Sometimes they go in and come out easy, other times they can be a real SOB. As far as the seat back (once you get the 2 bottoms out) then there should be 2 bolts at the bottom of that. Remove those 2 bolts.......or basically, follow the instructions in the post above from there.
