I have a 2001 Z28 and the steering wheel moves up and down and its annoying. How can it be fixed? The column doesn't move at all it just moves in the tilt area??

 

Search for GM tilt steering wheel repair. It's a common problem. Four bolts get loose inside the steering column. It isn't hard to fix but you have to take a lot of the steering column apart to reach the bolts. You will also need a few special tools.
