2000 Z28, Are v6 and v8 Auto Transmissions the Same?

I've got a 2000 Z28 Camaro with the 4L60E, and it's recently started slipping in overdrive. The car has 165k on it, so I knew it was just a matter of time. However, I may have a line on another fairly low mileage 4L60E, but it's out of a '98 six-cylinder Camaro with the 3.8.

Are the transmissions in my Z and this V6 car interchangeable?

No - bellhousing is different and the bell housing is not detachable.
