1997- headlights or 1998+ headlights
Re: 1997- headlights or 1998+ headlights
It's a tie, in my opinion.
Both style headlamps are garbage, rest assured, but my Camaro is just a toy--I can live a little easier with junk headlamps in a daytime cruiser. The Ranger has a darn good set of Euro headlamps that do the job.

I like the STYLE of the 93 - 97 better than the LS1 however they completely suck as far as LIGHT goes... LS1 lights are a night and day difference, literally... Sure they're not up to standard in comparison to most cars, but atleast they don't appear OFF when it is raining...
Re: 1997- headlights or 1998+ headlights
I used to liekthe LT1 style better but lately the LS1 has been growing on me (sorta like mold). Right now I'm getting ready for my winter project, I'm swaping the front end to the LS1 98+ style. I even managed to find a OEM SS hood on Ebay for cheap.

On Camaros of Firebirds?
LS1 FTW on Camaros
On WS6 TAs, I kinda like the LT1.. That said, they both look great on TAs, not much of a fan of LT1 Camaro front ends..
That said.. I've seen a few on here that really make me want one..

Re: 1997- headlights or 1998+ headlights

Looks wise, LT1 Camaros look much more aggressive, and LS1 WS6's are just damn mean looking!

But as far as the headlights specifically, the LS1 headlights WORK a helluva lot better, and I really have nothing against the looks of LS1 Camaros (obviously!?
), so I guess I'll say I "prefer" them, even though it's for different reasons than simply looks ... I like both really?!
