1994 positive battery cable

Can anyone tell me where i can find replacement battery cables for my 1994 formula? specifically the positive but i should probably replace both. The smaller cable, that branches off the positive rubbed up against my pulley and it nearly cut right through it.

Also, could damaging that cable cause my a/c to stop working? or is that most like an unrelated coincidence?

thanks

well the positive battery cable splits directly at the battery terminal, and everything in the car still has power, but it's the smaller 8 gauge wire that runs to the back of what i think is the generator, that was partially cut through.

I tested the temperature of the two lines of the a/c and where one should feel cold they both were quite hot to the touch, so I think that means it just needs refridgerant or am i mistaken on that? the a/c blows air, it just isn't cold at all.

The positive battery cable for a 94 is part number 12157373. Grab it from any of the online retailers Jason, Dal or GMPartsDirect and you should end up paying less than $30 for it shipped.

The cable should split into 3 -one lead to the back of the alternator, one lead to the positive junction block on the passenger fenderwell, and a third lead (which is harder to see) going straight down from the battery, (inside wire loom) and then along the passenger side block to the starter.
