I have a 1994 Camaro anf the Driver side door is splitting at the seam where the door goes together. It is right along the outside edge. It is starting on the top and moving down. Has anyone experienced this problem before?? And what did you do to resolve this problem? I realize that I could find another door and replace it,but the paint onthe car is in good shape and I dont want to paint the whole car. How good are they today at duplicating the exact same color?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Oh yea I tried to epoxy it but that only lasted a month!

 

I had the dealer fix the same problem on my pass. door before I would buy it. It looks like a weld job, but I'm sure it's just thick *** epoxy of some type. Any good body shop should be able to fix it.

 

That actually happens alot. There are a few tech pages on the net for fixing the problem. Basically it just has to be glued back on.
