We sold our '90 5.7 IROC for $4000 a few months ago in April.
It had 123k miles, in good condition, with regular maintenance, and the amount of wear one would expect for a car that age and mileage. The new owners were ready to clean it up and enjoy it as much as we did.

Thanks for the post. I think he wants 1300 for the car. Yours was a lot cleaner looking. The paint is faded and clear coat is peeling from years of sitting in sun. It used to be bright red. I was going to buy it for a project but I don't want to pay more for it than I may be able to get out of it in case I decide to get rid of it. What do you think?

Considering '90 is a desirable year (last year for IROC) and the 5.7 is desirable, if you think you can clean it up and paint it to sell it, you'd probably be upside down or barely break even if you're really frugal.

If you want it to use as your own car, it's probably worth the time, effort and money. You'll never get out of a car, what you've got into it if you fix it up right. If you half-*** it, then it won't bring as much either.

Got pics?
