I have a 90 RS, 305 TBI. This car has always charged almost in the red, on the guage inside the car. Is this normal? Now, a few days ago, while stopped at a light at night, the guage will jump back & forth, and the lights flicker slightly. It's not a situation where the car isn't charging enough, and wants to die or anything, but it just seems whatever it has to keep the charging guage stable, isn't working. Is this a diode in the alternator?? I know maybe this post is confusing, but it's just hard to explain on here. Thanks for any help..
