1968 Camaro Restoration... Dad's Car
Recently my father passed away. He had a lot of 'projects' that were left unfinished. As a way to remember some of the things that he enjoyed in his life, we want to keep a couple of them.
Since my brother and I are both young, we're going to start trying to get these projects underway and with some elbow grease, a lot of time, and a little luck, hopefully we can finish a few of them.
One of the projects was a 1968 Camaro. It has been sitting in one of his shops/warehouses for as long as I can remember. He used to talk about wanting to do this or that to the car often, but never got around to doing anything with it.
I only have a few shots of the car from where it originally sat (please excuse that they're a "little rough".
We've had it moved to a location where we have a lot more room and access. I plan to take pics of it before we start with anything.
I'm sure that this is going to be a long, painful process. We're not looking to do a showroom or show-quality restore, but we also don't want to disrespect the car by doing things that will crap it up.
Anyway... that's the story. You'll be seeing more of me from time to time as the process gets under way.

The body actually looks pretty solid from those pictures. should be fun...if you get frustrated or start dumping too much money into it just set it aside for a while and get back to it. with some time (and money, blood, sweat and tears) you will have a nice ride there
