02 Sensor Help

Hello. I currently have two 02 sensors on my vehicle that I know are not compatible with the vehicle (Bosch 02 sensors). The length of the wires on both measure approx. 14 inches. I found some brand new AC Delco ones on ebay and ordered them because the seller stated that they would fit on my vehicle. The part number is AFS 75 and made by Borg-Warner. The Borg-Warner ones do not fit because the wire length is much shorter (approx. 7 inches). Did I get the wrong ones sent to me? What OEM 02 sensors have a 14 inch wire length that would be compatible with my vehicle? How well would these 02 sensors work if I spliced longer wires to make them fit? Thanks.

I thought AFS 75 was an AC-Delco part number. Anyway, I don't remember the Delco AFS 75s having 14" leads, either. The ones I have are about 7", too. As far as compatible sensors with longer leads, I don't know.
It is not a good idea to alter the O2 sensor harness wiring as it may degrade sensor performance. Buy extensions or extend the car body harness, if needed.

What brand 02 sensors would you recommend for my vehicle. I need ones that have at least 14 inches of wire. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

I have found that only AC Delco O2 sensors work well. You can get them from gmpartsdirect.com, Dal or Jason for cheaper than the dealer.
