I was reading some fact sheet that said in 2000 they revised the engine and so it became a low emission engine. I can't find the fact sheet anymore, it basically broke down every change that was done each year. So what does this mean exactly for the consumer. Also was mentioned of a bigger gas tank to comply with some type of standards(I think emissions also), whats that all about?

I don't know about the low emissions standard, but they ditched the EGR system. Also, a properly tuned LS1 vehicle **WILL** pass the sniffer test without cats.
