0-60mph times from 1/4 slip?

Any calculators out there to gather 0-60mph times based on your 1/4 mile timeslip?

For cars running 12.5 - 14.5-seconds in the 1/4-mile, simply subtract 8.5-seconds from your ET to get 0-60MPH times. That is based on a statistical analysis of more than 200 road tests by popular auto mags.

whats funny is that I had this huge arguement over how I am figuring my car 0-60's in the 4.4 range on my 13.1 pass.
your figure states that i should be at 4.6.. Not too far from my figures..

And yes, I am bone stock! For everyone amusement, I will add a link to that thread later.. hehe

For all the cars I found in the 12.5 - 15.5 second range, the max error was 0.2 seconds doing it that way. When the cars get slower, the difference goes down, and when the cars get faster, the difference goes down. There just aren't enough 11-second cars being tested by magazines, but the ones I have seen are maybe 8.2-seconds difference.

I want to get the data logs from George Baxter's 8.6-second/160mph pass with his 30th SS..... I think the 0-60mph time is probably under 1.8-seconds.....

I would not put stock in a n average of what other cars run. There are too many variables like tires, gearing and horsepower in that pretty large gap from 12.5 to 14.5.

My LT1 is outside the range of 12.5 - 15.5-second 1/4-mile.

When the car was still running an M6, I checked an 11.5-sec pass once, using the data log from my MoTeC (time vs. eng rpm every 0.04 seconds), and it was approx 3.2-seconds. That assumes there was little tire growth up to 60mph.

I apologize for that, I see no signature for you for some reason. You gave me some info sometime ago and I thought you had an ls1 like I do. I still cannot see a stock ls1 fbody running 4.4 to 60. Now a z06 corvette, I can see that.

so what happens when the stock LS1 has as much or almost as much power as a modded LS1?

A Z06 only dynos at about 345-355 rwhp.. thats only 30 +/- 10 rwhp more... At the track, a Z06 that I raced was only able to pull during 2nd (I got him off the line).. after that, the margin btw. he and I never changed. We gained speed and ET at the exact same rate.. SO the 3-4 MPH he had on me never changed and the .3 he got on me never changed as well. Pretty neat. So bring on your Z06's.. The average driver would need a lot of luck on his side against me. Am I that good of a driver? I know my car.. I hold my own.

Most stock 01/02 fbodys dyno at 310. With the highend example you gave of 355, thats a 45 hp diffrence. Thats 4.5 tenths right there before you factor in the better traction, tires and the weight diffrence.
