OP, here is how to measure:
http://www.bmrfabrication.com/INSTALL/05Mustang-PHR.pdf
Make sure you are on a flat surface, wheels on the ground.
Injuneer, the 1" to the right was adjusted by moving it 1/2" to the left. While it did not appear to crab, it did try to go sideways (to the right) 100% of the time when I nailed it from a dig (after the turbo install so it had a bit of pep in its step). That is what led me to investigate why it was doing that so consistently.
AFA adjustable vs. non-adjustable, there is a $16 difference in price between the two at Summit. IDK, your call I guess.

I think I'll skip the lca for now. Last night I bought a scanmaster and a lingenfelter CAI. That gives me about $960 left. However I forgot to add parts for the header install. O2 sensor wire extensions, felpro header gaskets, egr blockoff plates.

Is felpro z1406 or z1470 the best? Also will these work on a lt1? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/STG-8911/
The application chart shows only gen 1 engines.

Where do I buy 02 extensions and how long do I need? Can't find them on summit.

Ok here is the parts I've bought.
Hooker catback, lpp longtube headers and y-pipe, felpro 1406 gaskets, percys locking header bolts, new dipstick tube, egr blockoff plates all for the header install. I'll be doing it maybe next month.

Got a used set of 3.73s and a eaton posi. New u-joints, wheel bearings and seals, shims for the posi, pinion seal, crush sleave, diff cover gasket, 80w90 gear oil, new rear main seal, new oil pan gasket, and 5q of oil+filter. I was quoted $450 labor for the gear install and to fix my leaking rear main seal.

Also got a lt1 scanmaster, a lingenfelter cai, and a cool looking throttle body plate. I still have to order my tune which will put me over my budget. I plan on installing some new plugs during the headers install and eventually new o2 sensors a month or so afterwards.

thats a little high on the rear man call around, gears for me were only 250 for the install, but then again you probably get what you pay for and my gears scream at 60

I got a quote of 225 for the gear install only. However I really want to get the rear main leak fixed while the car is in the air. So he is charging me another 225 to replace it and the oil pan gasket. This guy is the best around. He installed a set of gears in my old z a few years ago.
